SoCo Eclipse Black IPA - Partial Mash
This 6.3% ABV Black IPA was created in time for the total eclipse that will pass over Texas in April 2024. Falconer's Flight and Nectaron hops provide tropical pineapple, passion fruit, stone fruit, citrus, lemon, and grapefruit flavors and aromas while Briess Midnight Wheat malt gives this IPA a black appearance. Wildfire Pale Malt TexMalt is used as the base malt for this ale.

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags. However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Cali Girl ale yeast from Community Cultures Yeast Lab in San Antonio, Texas. The other recommended yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. Â
