Return Policy
You may return any unused item for a full refund (excluding shipping charges) within 30 days of purchase. If your order was damaged, missing, or incorrect, we apologize for the inconvenience. You may report the issue to us by sending us an email at info@socohomebrew.com or by calling us at 512-428-6564, and we will get back with you within 24 hours. Please remember to have your order number and order date ready. Our normal customer service hours are 10 am CST to 5 pm CST Monday – Friday.
Return Shipping Costs
We will pay for return shipping costs if the item arrives damaged or defective. You will be responsible for the return shipping costs if the item received was not damaged or defective. Any returns may be sent to:

Same Day Shipping
All orders placed by 9 am CST should ship that same day if the order is placed on a normal business day. Any orders placed after 9 am CST will be shipped the following business day. We are currently transitioning to a new location and some orders may experience slight delays. However, we will try our best to get orders out ASAP. Our business days are Monday through Friday excluding holidays. Severe weather may also lead to a delay in same day shipping.
The delivery time for our Flat Rate Shipping and Ground Shipping services may vary based on your delivery address. Refer to the map below to determine the approximate delivery timeframe.
International Shipping
We do not offer international shipping or shipping to APO/FPO/DPO addresses at this time.
Free Shipping and Flat Rate Shipping
Most products that we offer receive 7.99 flat-rate shipping (or $6.99 in Texas) when shipped within the contiguous United States. For Hawaii and Alaska, we offer $11.99 flat rate shipping on most products on our website. We also offer a lower $5.99 flat rate for shipping in zip codes surrounding SoCo Homebrew. Free Shipping and Flat-rate shipping are not available for addresses in U.S. Territories.
We may occasionally offer free shipping on select products or based on the total size of your shopping cart. Free shipping is available for orders of $59 and above.
Some items do not qualify for free shipping or flat-rate shipping. These items will have product descriptions that state that they do not qualify for free or flat rate shipping. Free shipping offers are only available in the lower 48 states.
Shipping To Correct Address
You are responsible for providing us with the correct mailing address when your order is placed online. We will make all reasonable efforts to validate your address with the shipping courier. You will be responsible for any additional shipping charges that are incurred if you provide us the incorrect shipping address.

CO2 Refills: we do not currently offer refills for CO2 cylinders as we move to our new location. CO2 refills will be available soon.

Yeast
Liquid Yeast: For local pick-up, we store all liquid yeast cold until you arrive to pick up your order. For shipping orders, we recommend purchasing a shipping envelope and cold pack to help keep your yeast cool until it is delivered. Check out our Economy Shipping Envelope & Cold Pack and our Insulated Shipping Envelope & Cold Pack options.
Dry Yeasts: Dry yeasts do not need cold packs for shipping. Dry yeasts can withstand short periods in higher temperatures.
Preparing a yeast starter is a good way to increase the yeast cell count before you pitch your yeast. We recommend that you prepare a starter for any beer that has a gravity over 1.050.
Taxes
SoCo Homebrew is located in Austin, Texas. Therefore, we do charge sales tax for orders shipped to addresses in Texas. The sales tax amount should appear on your order once you type in your shipping address.
