SoCo German IPA - Partial Mash

You may ask, what exactly is a German IPA?  It's an IPA with German ingredients.  Hallertau Blanc, Mandarina Bavaria, and Huell Melon hops contribute mango, grapefruit, mandarin orange, tangerine, melon and strawberry flavors and aromas.  Munich malt adds enhanced malty flavors while a touch of Carafa II malt helps give this beer a medium amber color.

• ABV:  6.2%
• OG:  1.060
• FG:  1.012
• IBU:  52.3
• SRM:  12.2

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page.  These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
