Amber, Red & Brown Ales - Partial Mash
Amber, Red, & Brown Ales are malty and have less of an emphasis on hop bitterness or hop flavor. These recipes will have malty flavors of biscuit, bread, caramel, coffee, raison & toast. Each of these 5 gallon partial mash recipes are designed for brewing on basic homebrew equipment. Each recipe will use around 1.5 to 3.5 pounds of grain and 3 to 12 pounds of liquid or dry malt extract.
