British Sunset Golden Ale - Partial Mash

Our British Sunset is a British style golden ale featuring light malt flavors and a focus on Willamette and Cascade hops.  Willamette hops provide spice & floral flavors and aromas while Cascade hops added towards the end of the boil add citrus and grapefruit flavors and aromas.  A British Golden ale is like a lighter ABV version of an American Pale Ale.

Characteristics:

• 4.8% ABV
• 32.2 IBU
• 3.7 SRM
• 1.045 OG
• 1.009 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
