Bitter Texan IPA - All Grain
Texas meets the west coast. This IPA features Fort Worth Texas malted TexMalt Wildfire pale malt and a bitter hop profile which includes west coast style Simcoe, Centennial, and Warrior hops. This 7.4% ABV IPA packs an impressive 66.8 IBU's. To make this a true Texas IPA, we recommend using Cali Girl liquid yeast from Community Cultures Yeast Lab in San Antonio, Texas.

This recipe kit DOES NOT include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags. However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Community Cultures Cali Girl liquid yeast. Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.
Yeast Pitch Rate: We highly recommend preparing a yeast starter or using 2 packets of yeast for this recipe due to the high original gravity (OG) in order to keep the yeast happy and healthy.
