The Turtle Pile Golden Ale is a very easy drinking light colored beer with hints of lemon-citrus.  Crystal 10L and Vienna malt provide light malty sweetness and light bready flavors.

Characteristics:

• 4.8% ABV
• 17.2 IBU
• 3.8 SRM
• 1.047 OG
• 1.011 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 1056.  Using other recommended yeasts may result in slight variations in the final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
