South Austin's Best Bitter - All Grain

An amber colored English style ale.  This 4.4% ABV beer is a great every day beer with balanced bitterness coming from English style Challenger and East Kent Golding hops.  East Kent Golding hops added at with 15 minutes and 5 minutes left in the boil give this beer flavors and aromas that include floral, spice, and earthy.  Maris Otter and Crystal 80L contribute rich malt and moderate caramel flavors.

• IBU:  32
• SRM:  11.8
• OG:  1.045
• FG:  1.011

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops
