SoCo Texas Tripel - Partial Mash

This Texas Tripel features San Jacinto 2 Row Malt from TexMalt in Fort Worth Texas.  The recipe has enhanced malt flavor from Caramel Vienna Malt and Flaked Oats.  This Tripel also features Willamette and Challenger hops.

  • 5.9 SRM
  • 1.080 OG
  • 1.007 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. This Texas inspired recipe was designed using Community Cultures Achouffe Belgian Ale yeast which is the yeast we recommend using for this recipe. 

Yeast Pitch Rate:  We highly recommend preparing a yeast starter or using 2 packets of yeast for this recipe due to the high original gravity (OG) in order to keep the yeast happy and healthy.
