SoCo Texas IPA - All Grain

An IPA featuring TexMalt's San Jacinto 2 Row Malt from TexMalt in Fort Worth, Texas.  Chinook, Cascade, and Amarillo Hops provide plenty of citrus, grapefruit, and orange flavors and aromas.  For yeast, we recommend using Cali Girl from Community Cultures Yeast Lab in San Antonio, Texas.

Characteristics:

• ABV:  7.3%
• IBU:  53.8
• SRM:  7.7
• OG:  1.070
• FG:  1.015

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Brew In A Bag Nylon Straining Bag
• Brew In A Bag Straining Bag With Handles

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag

* We strongly recommend adding an ice pack when ordering liquid yeast.  Transit times can vary and liquid yeast works best when it remains cold until the day you brew.
