SoCo Simcoe SMaSH IPA - All Grain

This Simcoe SMaSH (Single Malt, Single Hop) IPA showcases the fruit and pine notes that you get with US Simcoe hops.  Simcoe hops have aromas and flavors of passion fruit, berry, pine, earth, and citrus.  This recipe uses American 2 row malt which gives this beer a mild maltiness and contributes light straw color.

• ABV:  6.4%
• OG:  1.062
• FG:  1.014
• IBU:  51.0
• SRM:  4.0

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 1056 liquid yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:
