SoCo Mountain West Coast IPA - Partial Mash

This IPA joins traditional west coast Simcoe hops with Idaho 7 hops.  Simcoe hops bring citrus, grapefruit, pine, & herbal flavors & aromas while Idaho 7 hops provide tropical & stone fruit flavors & aromas.

Characteristics:

• ABV:  6.2%
• OG:  1.066
• FG:  1.019
• IBU:  56.7
• SRM:  6.6

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 1332 Northwest Ale yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
