SoCo Imperial Nut Brown Ale - All Grain

A high alcohol (8%) Imperial Nut Brown Ale with nut, toast, and chocolate malt flavors.  Target and Fuggle hops provide a balanced bitterness that helps compliment the high malt flavors.

Characteristics:

• 8% ABV
• 32.5 IBU
• 24.2 SRM
• 1.078 OG
• 1.018 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Yeast Pitch Rate:  We highly recommend preparing a yeast starter or using 2 packets of yeast for this recipe due to the high original gravity (OG) in order to keep the yeast happy and healthy.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain & Hop Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:
