SoCo Homebrew 10th Anniversary IPA - Partial Mash

This West Coast IPA is brings us back to 2014 when bitterness was king. Mosaic and Cascade provide a burst of tropical, fruity, floral, and grapefruit flavors. Crystal 40L Malt and Munich malt give this IPA a light Amber color and some light malty caramel flavors.

Characteristics:

• ABV:  6.8%
• SRM:  8.2
• IBU:  59.8
• OG:  1.066
• FG:  1.014

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Safale US-05 dry yeast.  Using other recommended yeasts may result in slight variations in final gravity and alcohol levels.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
