SoCo Brown Porter - Partial Mash

SoCo Brown Porter is an English style brown porter with an easy drinking 5.3% ABV and low hop bitterness.  Brown Malt, Crystal 60L and Chocolate malt provide chocolate, nutty, and caramel malt flavors.  East Kent Golding and Willamette hops provide a light complimentary bitterness.

• IBU:  22.4
• SRM:  24.7
• OG:  1.055
• FG:  1.015

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page.  These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
