Oat Dear I Created A Maltster Oat Stout - Partial Mash
This 7.8% oat stout is packed full of malty flavors including flavors and aromas of chocolate, caramel, and biscuit. Target and Progress hops add some light and pleasant hop bitterness. However, the beer is balanced towards maltiness over bitterness.

These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. This recipe was designed using Wyeast American Ale 1056 liquid yeast.
Yeast Pitch Rate: We highly recommend preparing a yeast starter or using 2 packets of yeast for this recipe due to the high original gravity (OG) in order to keep the yeast happy and healthy.
