Menchacaweizen Hefeweizen - Partial Mash

This 5.5% ABV Hefeweizen is packed with banana and clove flavors from German Hefeweizen yeast.  The Menchacaweizen Hefeweizen is complimented with German Hersbrucker hops and has enhanced body from the high proportion of wheat malt utilized in this recipe.

• 12.1 IBU
• 3.7 SRM
• 1.054 OG
• 1.013 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan liquid yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
