Mad Jack's Hoppy Amber Ale (AHA LTHD) - All Grain

This Amber Ale recipe was created for 2020 Learn to Homebrew Day.  This beer has citrus and grapefruit flavors and aromas that come Cascade hops added towards the end of the boil and in the fermenter.  

Characteristics:

• 6.1% ABV
• 33.7 IBU
• 12.8 SRM
• 1.061 OG
• 1.015 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag
