Lofty Loblolly IPA - All Grain

Named after the loblolly pine trees that dominate the Lost Pines Forest near Bastrop Texas, this west coast style IPA features Simcoe and Chinook hops which give this beer plenty of pine, citrus, and fruity flavors and aromas.  Pale Malt and Vienna Malt provide light toast/bread flavors.  Crystal 40L and Victory malt contribute an amber hue and light caramel and biscuit flavors.

• SRM:  8.2
• IBU:  61.3
• OG:  1.067
• FG:  1.015

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 1056 American Ale yeast.  Using other recommended yeasts may result in slight variations in final gravity and alcohol levels.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:
