Inline Diffusion Stone with 1/4" Barb & 1/2" Male NPT - 2 Micron
These Diffusion Stones are often used to aerate the wort prior to fermentation which promotes a healthy start to the brewing process. Also called Air Stones they can be attached to air pumps or to compressed oxygen tanks. Often threaded into a 1/2" Tee that is placed before the fermenter.
For Aeration: You can connect this inline diffusion stone to the 1/2" Tee and 2 hose stems with 1/2" Barbs on the other 2 sides of the tee in order to create an inline aeration system when transferring your wort from your kettle to your fermenter.
