This clear 1 gallon glass jug is a great option for 1 gallon batches of wine, beer, cider, and mead. 

For beer, this jug works best as a secondary fermentation vessel since beer brewing typically produces a significant amount of foam during the first week of fermentation.  For this reason, we recommend our 2 Gallon Fermenting Bucket and Lid for primary fermentation (1st week of fermentation) and this 1 gallon glass jug as secondary fermentation (2nd week of fermentation).
