Clear 1 Gallon Glass Jug
This clear 1 gallon glass jug is a great option for 1 gallon batches of wine, beer, cider, and mead.Â
For beer, this jug works best as a secondary fermentation vessel since beer brewing typically produces a significant amount of foam during the first week of fermentation. For this reason, we recommend our 2 Gallon Fermenting Bucket and Lid for primary fermentation (1st week of fermentation) and this 1 gallon glass jug as secondary fermentation (2nd week of fermentation).
Our 3 Piece Airlock and #6.5 Rubber Stopper are compatible with this glass jug. A 38 mm Polyseal Screw Cap or a 38 mm White Metal Screw Cap can be used to seal this jug. The polyseal screw cap is designed for multiple uses.
