West Coast Lager - Partial Mash

This 5% ABV American style lager is full of hop flavor.  Cascade, Citra, and Simcoe hops provide citrus, grapefuit, floral, and pine flavors and aromas.  American 2 Row Malt contributes very light malt flavors that lets the hops shine through.  This lager is much more bitter and has bolder hop flavors and aromas than a standard American style lager.

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using White Labs WLP840 American Lager yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:
