Two Z's IPA - Partial Mash

An IPA that features the unique citrus and tropical flavors of Zythos® and Zappa™ hops.  Pale Malt, Crystal Wheat Malt, and Flaked Wheat provide a pale amber color with light caramel malt flavors that allow the Zythos and Zappa hops to shine.

Hop Sensory Profile:

  • Zappaâ„¢: a discovered neomexicanus aroma hop native to the mountains of New Mexico. Having evolved independently, Zappa delivers moderate alpha (6-8%) and a uniquely rebellious aroma profile with notes of passionfruit, Fruity Pebblesâ„¢, tea tree and spice.
  • Zythos®: aroma descriptors include distinct tropical (pineapple) and citrus tones with slight pine characteristics.

    • Grains: Pale Malt, Crystal Wheat Malt, and Flaked Wheat
    • Extract: Pilsen Light LME and Pilsen Light DME
    • Hops: Zythos and Zappa
  • SRM:  8.7
    • Beer Color:
  • IBU:  55.8
  • OG:  1.059
  • FG:  1.013

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This beer was designed using Fermentis Safale US-05 dry yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.
