Texas Session Bock - All Grain

There are several commercial beers available on the market in the United States that call themselves bocks that have much lower alcohol content than the high alcohol versions you find in Europe.  This Texas Session Bock is 4.4% ABV and a very refreshing dark American style lager.  TexMalt Pale Malt is used as base malt making this a true Texas lager.  For yeast, we recommend using Augustiner Yeast from Community Cultures in San Antonio Texas.

• FG:  1.013

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Community Cultures Augustiner yeast.  Using other recommended yeasts will result in slightly different levels of attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops
