SoCo Xtra Pale Ale - Partial Mash

A light bodied, refreshing 4.8% ABV pale ale with a very clean finish.  Cascade and Tettnang hops provide light citrus, spice, and grapefruit flavors and aromas.  Pilsen malt, crystal 20L, and Vienna malt contribute toast, bread, and light caramel flavors.  This beer was designed to be an easy drinking everyday beer.

• SRM:  6
• IBU:  24
• OG:  1.049
• FG:  1.012

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page.  These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
