SoCo Texas Kolsch - Partial Mash

A lightly hopped Kolsch featuring light floral and spicy Mt Hood and crystal hops and San Jacinto Heritage 2 Row Malt that is malted by TexMalt in Fort Worth, Texas.  This 5.1% ABV straw colored Kolsch also has wheat malt for added body and flavor.

Characteristics:

• 5.1% ABV
• 23.9 IBU
• 3.5 SRM
• 1.050 OG
• 1.012 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
