SoCo English Export Imperial Stout - Partial Mash
Formerly known as Russian Imperial Stout, the English Export Imperial Stout is an intensely flavored big, dark ale with roasty malt. Tis high alcoholic beer boasts subtle raisin and plum flavors with a warming bittersweet finish. The Imperial Stout was originally brewed in England in the 1700's and exported to the Baltic states and to Russia. Â

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags. However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. Â
Yeast Pitch Rate:Â We highly recommend preparing a yeast starter or using 2 packets of yeast for this recipe due to the high original gravity (OG) in order to keep the yeast happy and healthy.
