Red RYErson Roggenbier - All Grain
Do you like rye in your beer? Bing! This beer is for you. Featuring over 50% rye malt, the spicy and peppery rye malt flavors are very prominent. Hallertau and Saaz hops provide a light complimentery hop bitterness and some light spicy and earthy flavors. Caramunich and Chocolate malts contribute light caramel and chocolate flavors. Vienna malt adds a little bready/toasty boost to the malt flavor.

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags. However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using White Labs WLP380 Hefeweizen IV yeast. Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.
