SoCo Pecan Brown Ale - Partial Mash

A malty and toasty American style brown ale with added pecan flavors. Pale Chocolate Malt, Brown Malt, Victory Malt, and Crystal 80L contribute biscuit, caramel and chocolate flavors. American Cluster and Willamette hops provide a balanced bitterness and light hop flavors and aromas.

• 24.4 IBU
• 18.9 SRM
• 1.053 OG
• 1.011 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. We designed this recipe using Community Cultures Cali Girl yeast. The recommended yeasts above may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. 

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

• Large Muslin Bag (Single Use)
• Jumbo Nylon Straining Bag (Reusable)

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:

• Small Muslin Hop Boiling Bag (Single Use)
• Fine Mesh Nylon Hop Bag With Drawstring (Reusable)
