Flying Kiwi Pale Ale - All Grain

A New Zealand inspired pale ale featuring New Zealand Green Bullet and Motueka hops. These hops provide pleasant dark fruit and fresh tropical lime flavors and aromas.

Characteristics:

• ABV:  5.6%
• SRM:  5.1
• IBU:  35.8
• OG:  1.061
• FG:  1.019

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  This recipe was designed using White Labs WLP041 Pacific Ale yeast. Using an alternative yeast like Fermentis Safale US-05 will likely lead to a final gravity as low as 1.013 which would reduce the sweetness and increase the ABV to as high as 6.3%.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:
