SoCo American Rye Ale - All Grain

This American Rye Ale is deep amber in color and includes all of the pepper/spice flavors of rye malt combined with the citrus, grapefruit and pine flavors of Simcoe and Cascade hops.  Crystal 40L malt, chocolate rye malt, and Victory malt contribute subtle caramel, biscuit, and chocolate flavors.

  • Grains: Rye Malt, 2 Row Malt, Crystal 40L Malt, Chocolate Rye Malt, and Victory Malt
  • Hops: Simcoe and Cascade
• 35.5 IBU
• 13.8 SRM

• 1.050 OG
• 1.008 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using White Labs WLP001 California Ale yeast. Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:
