This American brown ale recipe includes a malty body with flavors of chocolate and caramel.  Chinook hops provide a balanced bitterness and light pine and spice flavors and aromas.  A great new world American version of a classic English brown ale.

• ABV:  5.8%
• IBU:  27.7
• OG:  1.056
• FG:  1.012

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Lallemand BRY-97 yeast.  Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops
