Oatmeal Brown Ale - All Grain

This 5.1% malt forward English style brown ale tastes like an oatmeal cookie.  It features toasted oat, caramel, chocolate, and raisin malt flavors.  Golden Naked Oats and Flaked Oats provide an enhanced creamy mouthfeal and some oat and nut flavors. East Kent Golding hops provide light hop bitterness that does not overwhelm the malt flavors.

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using Wyeast 1968 London ESB yeast.  Using other recommended yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops
