Mosaic® and Citra® Pale Ale - All Grain
This 5.2% ABV pale ale is golden in color and features the tropical and citrus flavors and aromas of Mosaic® and Citra® hops. Â
About Mosaic Hops:  Mosaic hops are complex and pronounced. Strong impressions of citrus oil, balsam pine, blueberry, peach and tropical fruit. Notable mango character, but also shades of lime and mandarin orange. Mosaic® is often compared to an amplified Citra®, with which it shares a respectable alpha content but a highly-desired oil profile as well. This unique oil profile makes it most commonly used for flavor and aroma. Its exotic, fruit-laden bouquet lends itself well to American-style IPAs, saisons, wheats, and Brettanomyces-fermented beers.
About Citra Hops: Citra hops are strongly tropical and lush with a host of fruit flavors including peach, passionfruit, guava, lychee, grapefruit, lime and gooseberry. Because of its distinctive and intense aromatics, Citra® is best in a late addition or dry hop capacity. Used as a single variety or in a blend, Citra® does well in American wheat beers, pale ales, IPAs Belgian-style ales, and has been known to complement Brettanomyces ferments.
