Kick Carrageenan Mico-T Tablets - 10 Count

KICK Carrageenan kettle finings are an effective way to improve flocculation and clarity in the kettle and throughout the rest of the brewing process. The active ingredient KICK Carrageenan is kappa carrageenan, a high molecular weight polysaccharide derived from red seaweed. When added near the end of the boil, kappa carrageenan binds to haze-forming proteins and other small particles and flocculates rapidly, resulting in improved wort and beer clarity.

Recommended Usage: For 5 gallons, add 0.2-0.4 tablets to the boiling kettle, 10 minutes before the end of boiling. Occasionally as much as a 1 full tablet is required, especially in low-pH brews.Tablets do not need to be hydrated and should dissolve rapidly. If problems occur, the tablet may be crushed prior to use.
