This 5 gallon Italian glass carboy is the perfect vessel for fermenting 4 gallon batches of beer, wine, hard cider, and mead. It's also the perfect solution for secondary fermentation of 5 gallon batches. It's inherently impermeable to oxygen, meaning it does not allow oxygen to pass through and affect the liquid inside.
**Requires a #7 stopper or Small Drilled Universal Carboy Bung and a 3 Piece Airlock.
