Coconut Hefeweizen - All Grain

A Hefeweizen full of banana and coconut flavors and lightly hopped with Crystal hops.  Toasted coconut chips provide pleasant coconut flavors that pair well with the banana flavors that come from the hefeweizen yeast.

Characteristics:

• 5.1% ABV
• 13.7 IBU
• 3.5 SRM
• 1.050 OG
• 1.012 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. We used Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan yeast when designing this recipe. Using a different recommended yeast may result in different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity and alcohol level.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:

Hop Straining Bags:  If you need hop straining bags, we recommend the following:
