This Irish Red Ale recipe has caramel and toast malt flavors from Munich and Crystal 40L malts.  East Kent Golding provides balanced bitterness and light herb and floral flavors and aromas. 

Characteristics:

• 5.0% ABV
• 12.0 SRM
• 23.4 IBU
• 1.051 OG
• 1.014 FG

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops

Grain Bags:  If you need a grain bag, we recommend the following:
