American Hops (Pellet)
American hops are typically characterized as being big and fruity with intense citrus and grapefruit flavors and aromas. However, flavors and aromas can vary widely. For example, Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe and all high alpha acid hops that have intense citrus, grapefruit, melon pine, and lime flavors and aromas. However, American hops like Willamette, Crystal, and Mt. Hood will have more traditional European style flavors and aromas such of spicy, floral, and herbal.
