Biscuits and Jam ESB - All Grain

A 5.7% ABV Extra Special Bitter with strong biscuit flavors from biscuit malt and strong raspberry flavors from natural raspberry flavoring.  The addition of Crystal 80L and Special B malts contribute caramel and raisin flavors.  East Kent Golding hops provide light lavender, spice and earthy flavors and aromas.  The bitterness level for this ale is low for the style so that the malt and fruit flavors can shine.

• 15.3 SRM
• 1.059 OG
• 1.016 FG

Natural Flavoring Dosage:

• Use 2 ounces for light fruit flavor
• Use 3 ounces for medium fruit flavor
• Use 4 ounces for heavy fruit flavor

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. These yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity.  

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
