An extra dark candi syrup with strong notes of raisin, black currant, and roasted caramel. A superior syrup for all dark ales.
Candi syrups and sugars are often used in Belgian style beers to increase alcohol content and to add distinct colors and flavors. Brewers will often use 1 to 2 LB of candi sugars and syrups in 5 gallon batches of Belgian style beers.
