SoCo Eclipse Black Blonde Ale - Partial Mash
Have you heard of a black Kolsch? Well, this is our dark version of an American blonde ale. This 5.0% ABV blonde was created in time for the total eclipse that will pass over Texas in April 2024. Falconers Flight hops provide light citrus hop character while Briess Midnight Wheat malt gives this blonde ale a black appearance. Wildfire Pale Malt TexMalt is used as the base malt for this ale.

This recipe was designed using Cali Girl ale yeast from Community Cultures Yeast Lab in San Antonio, Texas. The other recommended yeasts may have different levels of attenuation which may result in slight variations in the final gravity. Â
