Flavor & Aroma:  Lemon, green pepper, spearmint, and apple

German Magnum Hops have aroma descriptors that include apple and pepper.  It is a high alpha variety with some spice and fruit characteristics.  Magnum is perfect for Lagers. Mangum was bred at the Hop Research Center in Hull in 1980 and released in 1993.  It is a daughter of Galena. 

Possible Substitutions:  German Taurus and German Tradition.
