Maddie's English Porter - All Grain

Maris Otter Malt, Crystal 80L Malt, Chocolate Malt, and Special Roast give this English style porter rich malty chocolate and caramel flavors.  This ale is balanced towards the rich malty flavor, but East Kent Golding hops provide a moderate amount of traditional English hop flavors and aromas such as herbal, spicy, and woody characteristics.

This recipe kit DOES NOT  include yeast, priming sugar or grain bags.  However, we do give you yeast options at the top of the page. This recipe was designed using White Labs WLP002 English Ale yeast. Using an alternative yeast may result in slight variations in attenuation and final gravity.

Priming Sugar:  For priming sugar, we recommend the following:

• 5 oz Priming Sugar
• Carbonation Drops
