Deluxe Homebrew Equipment Kit With PET Carboy
This homebrew starter kit is a step up from the Brewer's Best Basic Homebrew Starter Kit. This kit provides the essentials for brewing 5 gallons of beer. Most homebrew hobbyists brew 5 gallons of beer at a time. However, we also offer 1 gallon starter kits if you want to start off a little smaller.
This equipment kit includes a Vintage Shop 5 Gallon PET carboy (large jug). We also offer a starter kit with a glass carboy which can be found here. At SoCo Homebrew, we like using both plastic and glass carboys. Glass carboys can last forever as long as you don't drop it and shatter it. Plastic PET carboys are lighter and easier to handle. However, PET carboys are also a little more susceptible to scratches that can harbor bacteria.
